This past weekend has waged a battle in many people's computers regular at 4chan. Attempts have been made a new operation, starring Anonymous, against Anti-Piracy entities of the United States. This operation was called "Operation Payback" (Operation Reimbursement for those recently learned in English).
With the help of LOIC (Low Orbit Ion Cannon, a free software tool for mass applications to a website from your computer) this past Friday, September 17 Anonymous saturated thousands of servers in the MPAA (Motion Pictures Ass . of America) and AiPlex Software, the company hired by the MPAA to saturate the servers of The Pirate Bay (page offers download links for emule).
Later Saturday, the DDoS attack (Distributed Denial of Service. It comes to mean so many people trying to enter at once to the same website that this is just collapsing) went to the RIAA, Recording Industry Ass. of America, because of the large number of legal actions undertaken such entity against individuals who have made illegal downloads (U.S.) in an individual.
